GMAT and Beyond
So I have launched the task of studying for GMAT finally .Some days back I bought Barron’s Guide to GMAT.I later found out that it had pretty bad coverage of quant (math part) of GMAT .Moreover everyone has some reason for criticizing the book.
So right now I am exhausting it in few days before I move on to proper guides like Princeton review and Kaplan. I am not going to any coaching centre for it. I had this passion for self-learning since I was in school .Even in college when I was overwhelmed by complex formulas of Chemistry and un scalable equations of Physics I persisted in not going for tuitions and it paid off. I scored brilliant. It helps to improve basic understanding of one’s own concepts. When you leave yourself alone in the ocean of complex knowledge ,you get the push to bring out the best of yourself and come to terms with your own concepts. ”Ocean of complex knowledge!!” I just waxed some lyrical! So now I am busy studying for GMAT and participating in GMAT forums online .GMAT is all around me .it is making me sharp and geek enough to tell the product of 18 x 16 in a jiffy.(Method: Subtract 18x 4 from 18 x20 i.e 72 from 360 and 288 is the answer)

kaplan is the best hands down.
Barron is a good start though.

No, I am not familar with Html. Are you a maths Geek. I really hate Maths.
Self study is the best. Nevertheless, you can take a crash course, if you want for a basic idea.
