Of rumours ,selfish motives and death of King Fahd.

Few years back when I was in UAE where people expect to have mourning holidays if some high royalty in Saudi Arabia dies. One day a rumour spread around like fire in the jungle that King Fahd of Saudi Arabia had passed away and there ill at least three offs. I did receive quite a few phone calls about this and I did call some people to confirm it too.
All of this happened with in few hours. The televisions weren’t beaming anything about it and it was being said that the news is being covered up from media. But we discovered later that nothing of such sort had happened and it was nothing but a rumour. My father was enraged over it as how people can indulge in fabricating such rumours for the sake of getting holidays! On 1st August 2005 (i.e yesterday) King Fahd passed away.may God bless his soul.
