Staying at home, while the beat goes on
So I didn’t go to the Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jamal today.
I am missing the ambience and the trance.
I am missing the odour of the smoke that charasis used to puff on my face in the crowded surroundings
I am missing the fear of being blown away by some bomb in a split second (as the people in the Bari Imam were)
I miss the temptation of smoking drugs
I miss the intimacy of sitting in the cramped spaces amidst the horde of all strangers clad in dirty smelling salwar qamiz.lol
I miss the Dhol of Pappu and Jora Sayein which helped me lose in my deeper self.
I miss being among the people who take life to extremes.
I
miss sitting quietly with friends , among the noisy masses , observing the extraordinary.

Well... missing something or someone reminds you of their importance :).
