Did anyone sleep eight hours last night?

I sleep for six hours every night .This reduced period of sleep make me feel drowsy in the afternoon classes .Otherwise I am quiet ok with it. This reminds me of a Kenyan friend who worked for twelve hours at Starbucks and was pursuing a MCSE certification in the meanwhile. He used to sleep for four hours daily. He claimed that it was his ‘capability’ but I doubted it since Starbucks coffee is not an impotent drink.
This morning atleast three people told me that they slept only few hours last night and that was making them feel bad .I believe it is all in the mind. If you want to sleep lesser as everyone seems to be doing, you got to train your body and mind for it.
Caution: Research has proved over and over that there is no substitute of eight hour sleep

being an insomanic,....i depend upon pills to get sleep. i think that the body gets trained the way u or the mind trains it. But it has repurcussions....all these weird habits catch up with u - ultimately....take it from somebody who has been ill quite often~`

there is no substitute of sleep.less night sleep makes men more prone to baldness.and overall less vigour and zeal. ask people like us.who have duties of exceedingly long hours and exams which let us have only 3-4 hrs of daily sleep and how much we crave for even an hour of sleep in between.

u must have read that study where if every week day, you are missing an hour of sleep; by the end of the week, you would have lost a whole day's sleep. And catching up of missed snoozes by sleeping 12 hours a day instead of 6 isnt possible. As the human body isn't attuned that way....
