Then and Now

When I was in college, my life was strewn with achievements. I was the class topper, the most active guy in extracurricular activities and quite famous in the town because of my articles .I had limited freedom to explore the life around me as my parents were around .When I came to Pakistan in mid 2003 ,I had to restructure my life. I started exploring the world around me as Dervish I spent almost all of the time out roaming on the streets and places of Lahore. And then I got myself into serious staff like working in commercial festivals, playing guitar and still exploring the life here. But now I feel aloof .Most of people around me are still living in the same state of mind which I was in. They haven’t stepped out and kissed the reality. Though I am living with my family here but the essence of exploration is still present in my life now. But now I find people too ordinary. I spend half of the day in the Punjab University classrooms. I find many people in the class boring and I don’t feel like talking to them but I can’t pass a day silently humming some moby song.Now I don’t have any achievements ,nor do I am a class topper nor a Mr Know-it-all but i m travelling .
