Back to reality
Coming from the world of pretentious and insecure Pakistani celebrities to my own (unglamorous )real world(full of time spent in power cuts and long waits for others under the scorching sun on a typical may day in Lahore).The attitude of Police is getting worse . it is certainly happening due to zombies sitting on the ruling chair. One of my friends, unfortunately a musician from a gharana, was nabbed by Police for driving one way in the Colony road near Akbar Chowk.
Are there any such rules applicable in colonies ???
The poor guy was rushed to the Police station, where he was grounded for two hours and asked to bribe the Chillars( a local term for police) 3000 rupees. In the mean time I was waited for him at the Faisal Town filling Station for nearly two hours.
He should write to Human Rights Commission of Pakistan and other people to atleast supply them material to make Pakistan’s Human rights reports worse
In the evening I went to FAST-NU to watch two plays and a performance by Farhan of gauhar.Jugaat baazi seems to be catching fast with the people here.though it has been looked down until now.i think it'll seep into the hip crowd as well.Not bad.
